As a qualified Nurse, Midwife and Specialist Community Health Nurse, I am able to support you. I have a BSc. (Hons) in Health Studies (first class) and a PGDip in Specialist Community Public Health (with distinction). I have knowledge and experience and am competent as an advocate. I have chosen to leave my professional career so that I can give the time and continuity of care to better meet your needs and empower you to get the experience of childbirth and as a mother that you want.

I am passionate about giving you the time and continuity of care which is not always available in the NHS, but is so important to create the environment that you want and the birth and feeding support you may need.

 

I have also been able to support women in the post natal period with baby care, breast/formula feeding, emotional support, confidence building, and I have continued to support families as needed with children from 0-5 years.

I have two grown up children of my own and have experienced medicalised and ‘natural birth’. I understand the stresses involved in becoming a new Mum and would love to help tailor that journey to meet your needs and expectations. Let’s talk and you can decide if I’m the one for you.
